Exterior prep starts with a pressure wash to strip off dirt, mildew and chalking paint, then any loose or peeling paint gets scraped and sanded back to a sound edge. How long will exterior paint last in Florida?

It depends more on the prep and the product than almost anything else — paint applied over a properly washed, scraped and primed surface holds its color and adhesion far longer than paint rushed onto dirty or chalking siding. We do that prep every time.

Do you spray or roll the exterior?

Both, depending on the surface — spraying gets an even coat into stucco texture and garage door panels, while siding and trim sometimes get rolled or brushed for control near windows and edges. We'll use whichever gets the cleaner result on your house.

Can you paint just the garage door, or does it have to be the whole house?
