Interior Painting in Northeast Florida

Walls, ceilings and trim painted clean and even — proper prep, sharp lines and a finish that lasts — in Jacksonville and all around it.

A fresh coat of interior paint changes how a room feels, but the paint only looks as good as the wall underneath it — filled nail holes, sanded patches, primed surfaces and clean, sharp lines where the ceiling meets the wall. Maia Painting Services handles interior painting for homes across Northeast Florida: walls, ceilings, trim and everything in between, prepped and painted with the same care whether it's one bedroom or a full house.

Diego has 10 years of experience painting interiors, and the business is fully equipped for small jobs and large ones alike. Florida's humidity works against a rushed interior job — closed-up bathrooms, laundry rooms and closets hold moisture that shows through paint that wasn't primed right — so prep gets the time it needs before a single coat goes on. What's included

Interior work starts with prep: nail holes and small dings filled and sanded smooth, surfaces cleaned and primed where the old paint or the wall itself calls for it, and floors and furniture covered before a brush ever comes out. From there it's cut lines along the ceiling, corners and trim done by hand for a sharp edge, then walls rolled even so there are no lap marks or roller texture showing once it dries. Vaulted ceilings, accent walls and fireplace walls all get the same attention — the height or the angle doesn't change how carefully the edge has to be cut.

Every room gets painted with the same standard: two coats where the color calls for it, consistent sheen from wall to wall, and trim and doors that get their own attention instead of being an afterthought. Whether it's a single accent wall or every room in the house, the goal is a finish that looks even in daylight and lamp light both, and a job site left clean when it's done.

How we work

See the space

We look at the rooms in person, talk through the colors and finish you want, and check what the walls and ceilings actually need before quoting.

No-obligation quote

You get a no-obligation quote based on the real rooms and the real prep they need, in English or Spanish.

Prep and prime

Holes filled, surfaces sanded and cleaned, floors and furniture protected, and primer applied wherever the wall calls for it.

Cut, roll and finish

Sharp lines cut by hand, walls and ceilings rolled even, and the space left clean and ready to use.

Interior Painting by city

A Riverside interior, a beach-house exterior at Jacksonville Beach, a St. Augustine ceiling repair and an Orange Park garage door each need a different prep — and after 10 years, we handle all four.

Common questions

Do you paint ceilings, or just walls?
Both — ceilings, walls and trim are all part of an interior job, including vaulted and high ceilings. We bring what's needed to reach them safely and finish them the same way as the walls.
Do I need to move my furniture?
Move what you can out of the room if possible; whatever stays, we cover and move to the center of the room before we start, so nothing gets paint on it.
How many coats does a room usually need?
It depends on the color change and the condition of the existing paint — some rooms are fine with one careful coat, others need two for even coverage. We'll tell you honestly what your walls need when we look at them.
